About Our Programs
At the BEAR Center, we are committed to fostering economic growth, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy in rural communities. Our programs are designed to empower individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in business and thrive in the modern job market. We are working on the following initiatives by developing partnerships, finding funding sources, and providing the necessary resources to support our community.
Additional Initiatives that we are working towards include:
Access to Online Platforms
Providing digital tools and resources to facilitate learning and business operations, such as templates for business plans, financial models, and marketing strategies. [coming soon]
Access to Funding Support
Providing assistance to businesses through microgrants, scholarships, or sponsored services to increase access for underprivileged communities. We work with strategic partners and through grants to develop access to seed and expansion funding for underserved communities starting businesses. [coming soon]
Culturally and Language - Translated Materials
We are working on providing materials translated into relevant languages for our area and culturally adapted to respect the customs, traditions, and beliefs of diverse populations, including Spanish speakers and tribal communities.
